Live engraving at the launch event of Mirror Water candle by Estée Lalonde

On 3rd December 2024 I had the opportunity to attend the launch event of the new Mirror Water candle ‘Sun through trees’ founded by Estée Lalonde.

Attending this relaxing event was only possible because my dear industry friend Sneha from @paintpotsandquills refered me to Estée, for which I’m so grateful for.

The event was one of the most relaxed I ever been to. And that was because the entire room was filled with burning the new candle - a blend of warming woody notes and uplifting bergamot. It promotes a relaxed and grounded atmosphere with a hint of zest. This soy candle is also designed to heighten the ambience of your home. I burn it at home too every time I wind down for a bath ritual.

The candle launch was also celebrated with a festive wreath-making workshop at @spacenk, led by the @sage.flowers

And, getting to my part too. I was there to engrave live all the candles bought by the participants at the workshop. The candle glass was a dream to engrave one. Together with Estes, we decided to add a silver colour fill on the engraving which matched perfectly with the silver text branding on the candle. And against the beautiful shade of green it was a very elegant match.

Two hours at this event went by so quickly and Estée is the lovliest and kindest person I ever met.
