Onsite hot foiling corporate event at Forbes CMO summit

Heat foiling technique is also known as hot foiling. Combining artistic calligraphy and heat foiling is a beautiful way to add gold or silver metallic shine to leather items at your on-site event. Using a small portable heat tool to write, the heat transfer is permanent on the item. The guests will wonder at the “foil reveal” part, where they can see the foil gentled peeled away to unveil the beautiful lettering on their item.

With that being said, in November 2024, I had the absolute honour to be asked by the team at Forbes to take part in a live activation at the Forbes CMO Summit. The event took place at BAFTA London. The hot foiling activation was organised for the ROKT team.

Every detail of this activation was considered. The item offered were Apple Air Tags with a leather cover that I personalised using the heat foiling technique.

With the team we decided to ofer 5 colours of the items, 2 foil colours (gold and silver) and 2 writing styles (calligraphy style and a block lettering style) to choose from.

Throughout the day, I personalised about 80 air tag holders and the feedback received from the attendees was so positive; the item chosen as a free gift was such an useful one and the personalisation addition with the heat foiling was an unique addition.

Heat foiling was a new service addition of my offerings in 2024 and will continue to offer in 2025 too.
