at the pre-opening VIP event of Victoria’s Secret boutique at 120 Next Oxford Street London

I wouldn’t have believed if someone would tell me 5 years ago when I took the plunge and registered as self-employed that one day a brand like Victoria’s Secret UK will contact me directly to take part at one of their VIP events as an engraving artist.

But, it happened in March 2024.

On 27th March, the team of Victoria’s Secret UK hosted a VIP pre-Opening event at their newest VS Boutique located at 120 Next, Oxford Street.

I had the absolute honour to be part too of this event as the engraving artist. During the 3 hour event, I engraved over 30 bottles of their iconic Bombshell fragrance bottles for their special guests. But also for the lovely customers who also got invited after the private event ended and everyone who was lucky to be nearby got enticed to visit the newly shop and also received a goody bag. Their excitement was surreal to find out they can have their Bombshell fragrance received in the goodie bag engraved by me with any name of their choice.

The highlight of the evening was that the videographer recorded me while I engraved a tester. To my surprise, VS team shared this special video how I do my magic and engrave a beautiful Bombshell fragrance bottle on their IG. You can see it here on their official UK Instagram page.

I literally cried when I saw the video. As an artist with a visual difference (I am a baldie since last year when I lost my hair due to a severe form of Alopecia after I gave birth to my son), I truly admire VS core values for promoting the beauty of all women no matter their body shape or visual appearance.

The pre-opening event was a huge success as per team’s feedback.

But, that event wasn’t the only one I took part.

To celebrate the opening of their newest boutique, the team have decided to have an engraving artist (me again) in store for 4 full days from 10-6 pm, where customers have been enjoying free complimentary fragrance engraving. At the first day of opening, a dear industry friend Sham (@mimawrites) teamed up with me and helped me cover on this day. Then, on day 2, 3 and 4 I was there to offer engraving on all fragrance purchases.

Below, is a gallery of the products I engraved across those 3 days. Obviously, the Bombshell was a favourite choice amongst so many customers. I engraved lots of full sized bottles (50 and 100 ml) but also so many travel sized ones (7ml).

I absolutely adored being part of the pre-opening event and afterwards in store for other 3 days and grateful for the VS team for trusting me.
